  • Jahangir Mohammed
    GM, IoT Cloud

    Jahangir Mohammed is the GM of Cisco Jasper, the global IoT platform leader. Under his leadership, the company has enabled thousands of enterprises, service providers and ecosystem partners worldwide to accelerate their IoT success. For more than a decade, he has helped companies across industries to build new connected service businesses that deliver innovative customer experiences and unlock new sources of recurring revenue. Prior to founding Jasper in 2004, which became part of Cisco in 2016, Jahangir founded Kineto and worked at Bell Labs.

  • Scott Barkley
    Head of IoT Cloud Product Management

    Scott Barkley has been leading our product organization since 2005, bringing years of enterprise software application experience. Before Jasper, Scott spent several years in product, marketing and sales leadership positions at Siebel Systems. Prior to Siebel, Scott served Business Development and Operations roles for several software and financial organizations. Barkley holds a B.A. from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business where he was a Wade Fetzer Scholar.

  • Daniel Collins
    CTO-Wireless, IoT Cloud

    Since co-founding Jasper in 2004, Daniel Collins has been responsible for Jasper’s wireless technologies and integration with network operators. Daniel has worked in the communications industry for more than 25 years, beginning his career at Ericsson, and was instrumental in bringing 3GPP technologies from Europe to North America. Daniel spent several years as a consultant on wireless and IP technologies to numerous mobile operators, including serving AT&T Wireless as Chief Network Architect. Prior to Jasper, Daniel worked at Alcatel North America as VP, Fixed Mobile Convergence. 
Daniel is author of “Carrier Grade Voice over IP” and co-author of “3G Wireless Networks,” both published by McGraw-Hill. Collins holds a B.Eng degree from University College Cork, Ireland.

  • Martyn Etherington
    Head of IoT Global Marketing

    Martyn Etherington, who joined Jasper in 2015, is responsible for all aspects of corporate marketing strategy and programs globally. He also oversees business operations and strategy deployment. Prior to joining Jasper, Martyn served for three years as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief of Staff for Mitel Networks, driving the company’s transformation to the leading Cloud/SaaS communications brand. He served 10 years at Tektronix/Danaher as Chief Marketing Officer. With more than 25 years of experience, Martyn has been recognized by The Economist as one of the Top 25 Social Business Leaders, by Forbes as one of the Top 50 Marketers, and by The Internationalist as one of the Top International Marketers 2015. Etherington serves as Chair of Portland State University School of Business, and is an advisory board member of the Chief Marketing Officer Council, Causetech and CultureSphere.

  • Glo Gordon
    VP, IoT Cloud

    Glo Gordon joined Jasper in 2014, overseeing all monetization and enterprise market development for Jasper products globally. She’s known for building high performance sales teams that deliver results.
Glo was most recently with Oracle, serving as Global Vice President BSS/OSS Sales for the Communications Global Business Unit. Previously she was Group Vice President Communications BSS/OSS Sales North America, and her organization was recognized as one of Oracle’s top 10% for Global Employee Development and Satisfaction. Glo also served as Oracle’s Vice President Applications Sales North America Communications, Media and Entertainment (CME) and co-chaired the company’s Global Communications Board.
 Glo has also held senior leadership positions with enterprise software leaders SAP and PeopleSoft, and at Xerox, where she launched one of the first virtual national inside sales teams.
 Glo holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

  • Amit Gupta
    CTO-Software, IoT Cloud

    Since helping launch Jasper in 2004, Amit has been responsible for Jasper's software technologies. Prior to Jasper, Amit served as a chief technology officer (and on the Board of Directors) at Andale—the leading providers of services for sellers on eBay and other marketplaces—and at Sun Labs, where his work focused on computer networks and distributed systems.
 Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley and a BTech in Computer Science from IIT, Delhi.

  • Cliff Johnson
    VP, Global IoT Service Operations

    Cliff Johnson joined Jasper in 2014, providing service operations leadership, with over 30 years of telecommunications experience. Prior to Jasper, Cliff was Vice President and Head of Customer Support Operations at Ericsson. Cliff’s organization supported all North American customers including: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Comcast and Rogers. Previously, Cliff held Executive and Senior Management positions at Alcatel, Spatial Wireless (acquired by Alcatel), Coyote Technologies and DSC Communications, as well as Software Engineering positions at Ericsson and NEC America early in his career.
Johnson holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University and an M.B.A. in Engineering Management from the University of Dallas.

  • Ken Laversin
    Global Head of Sales, IoT Cloud

    Ken currently serves as the Global Head of Sales for Cisco's IoT Cloud, joining Cisco Jasper via the Jasper acquisition, where he leads the global sales efforts for the IoT Cloud BU. Ken joined Jasper in 2013 where he was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He built the global sales and alliances organization in Jasper's hyper growth phase, and helped establish Jasper's global market presence and dominance. Ken came to Jasper from Oracle where he held various SaaS and enterprise software sales leadership roles, including Vice President of North American Sales for Oracle’s Communications applications and infrastructure products. Ken also worked at Siebel Systems in domestic and international sales leadership and alliances roles. He holds a B.A. from the University of Arizona in Political Science and Economics.

  • Macario Namie
    Head of IoT Strategy

    Macario Namie joined Jasper in 2007 and currently leads IoT strategy efforts, including ecosystem development, for Cisco Jasper. Prior to this role, Macario spent 8 years leading marketing, responsible for product marketing, corporate marketing, field marketing, and demand generation. Macario brings nearly 20 years in marketing Software-as-a-Service enterprise applications. Prior to Jasper, Macario led Worldwide Product Marketing at WebEx, the leader in on-demand collaborative solutions, where he was responsible for solution definition and execution of go-to-market plans for the entire WebEx product portfolio. Macario also held senior roles at ePeople and Lycos and holds a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

  • Cindy Patterson
    Worldwide Head of Operator Success, IoT Cloud

    Cindy Patterson joined Jasper in 2007 and has worked with 27 operator groups and more than 120 network operators around the world to build and monetize their IoT businesses. Before Jasper, she held senior leadership roles at Verizon Wireless, playing an instrumental role in the merger, the growth of the Texas market as Region President, and the launch of the Enterprise Data business unit selling to Fortune 1000 and Global 500 accounts. Prior to Verizon, Cindy held senior leadership positions in Motorola, helping to launch and grow the first mobile products globally. Patterson holds a B.A. in business administration from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from DePaul University - Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

  • Hatim Tyabji

    Hatim Tyabji is a distinguished executive with an exceptional record. Hatim currently serves as Chairman of Jasper and Chairman of Best Buy. He is also on the boards of Touch Networks (Australia) and the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance. Previously, he was Executive Chairman of Bytemobile and Chairman and CEO of VeriFone (NYSE), where he grew market capitalization from $30M to $1.5B, and later served as Chairman of Datacard Group. Prior to joining Bytemobile, Hatim was founding Chairman and CEO of Saraide, driving the convergence of the Internet and wireless telecommunications. Earlier, he held several positions at Sperry Corporation, the last being President, Information Systems — the number-three position in the 77,000-person company.

    Hatim holds a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. in International Business. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by the State University of New York. In 2007, he published Husband, Wife & Company: An Honest Perspective on Success in Life and Work, a book on the complex interrelationships between family and career.

  • Steven T. (Terry) Clontz
    Senior Executive VP, Singapore Technologies Telemedia

    Terry Clontz is a veteran in the telecoms industry with more than 40 years of experience, including 25 years working internationally. He is currently Senior Executive VP at Singapore Technologies Telemedia, a strategic investor in Info-communications businesses. Prior to STT Terry served as CEO at StarHub, a startup that grew to become the second largest telecommunications company in Singapore during his 11 year tenure. Before StarHub Terry was CEO and President of New York based IPC Information Systems Inc., a global leader in specialized voice trading systems for the financial industry. Earlier he held several senior executive positions at BellSouth’s International Group after beginning his career as an engineer at Southern Bell, BellSouth’s parent company.

    In addition to serving on the Jasper board, Terry is a non-executive Director on the boards of StarHub, Equinix, and Level 3.

    Mr. Clontz earned his bachelor’s degree in physics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

  • Bruce Dunlevie
    General Partner, Benchmark

    Bruce is a seasoned veteran of venture capital with more than 20 years experience in high-tech investing. Since May 1995, Bruce has been a General Partner of Benchmark, a venture capital firm. Bruce has served as a member of the board of directors of ServiceSource International, Inc., a service support provider, since December 2004. Bruce previously served as a member of the board of directors of Rambus Inc., a technology licensing company, from March 1990 to June 2011, and as a member of the board of directors at Palm, Inc., a provider of mobile products, from October 2003 to October 2007. 

    Bruce holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar; and a BA from Rice University.

  • Troy Fukumuto
    Managing Director of Private Equity, AllianceBernstein

    Troy Fukumoto is the Managing Director of Private Equity and Venture Capital within AllianceBernstein’s Alternative Investment Management Group. The group manages over $8 billion of private equity and hedge fund investments. Troy manages partnership investments in buyout, growth equity, distressed, venture capital, secondaries, direct investments and co-investments.

    With over 20 years of investment and operating experience, Troy has served as a board director or observer for over 20 companies and has served as an advisory committee member for 15 private equity partnerships. He has managed over 50 direct investments and dozens of private equity partnership investments.

    Troy has been responsible for investments in a number of leading technology, digital media, life science, and cleantech companies. Earlier, he led teams building mission critical satellites. He held both project management and line management positions, and focused on custom designed spread spectrum demodulators and digital processing systems.

    Troy holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

  • Gaurav Garg

    Gaurav Garg serves on a number of private company boards including Ruckus Wireless, Jasper, FireEye, MobileIron, Shape Security, and Instart. He was a board member at Netscaler (acquired by Citrix), and was deeply involved with Sequoia’s investments in Aruba (Nasdaq: ARUN), Jawbone, and Ring Central.

    Gaurav was a Partner at Sequoia Capital from 2001 to 2010, and a Special Limited Partner from 2010-2012. Prior to Sequoia, he was a founder, board member, and Senior Vice President of Product Management at Redback Networks (Nasdaq: RBAK). Gaurav holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Computer Science, all from Washington University in St. Louis.

  • Mohan Gyani
    former President and CEO, AT&T Wireless Mobility Group

    Mohan is a wireless industry veteran. Mohan was the former President and CEO of AT&T Wireless Mobility Group. He has played key roles in the $1.6 Billion IPO of AirTouch in 1993 and the $10.6 Billion IPO of AT&T Wireless in 2000. Mohan led AT&T Wireless domestic voice and data mobility businesses, focusing on completing the expansion of the company’s footprint across the U.S. and accelerating growth, particularly in the wireless data business. He was instrumental in helping produce industry pacesetting growth in subscribers and revenue while improving profitability and evolving the business to mainstream next generation technology. Following the merger of Vodafone and AirTouch, Mohan was the head of Strategy and Corporate Development and served on the Board of Directors for Vodafone AirTouch PLC. Prior to the merger, Mohan was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of AirTouch.

    Mohan also serves on the boards of directors of Ruckus WIreless, Audience, Inc., Keynote Systems, Inc., Safeway, Inc., Union Bank, N.A. and other private companies.

  • Antonio Viana-Baptista
    former Chairman and CEO, Telefónica Moviles and Telefónica International

    Mr. Viana-Baptista has held Chief Executive roles at Telefónica since 1998 including General Manager, CEO, Telefónica Spain; Chairman and CEO, Telefónica Moviles and Telefónica International. He held previous positions with Banco Portugues de Investimento as Executive Director and with McKinsey & Company as Principal Director, Madrid, Spain and Lisbon. Mr. Viana-Baptista is currently a Director of several luminary companies, including: Research in Motion (Canada), SA (Brazil) and NH Hoteles (Spain). Mr. Viana-Baptista has a Masters degree in Economics from the Universidade Catolica Lisbon, Portugal and a Masters of Business Administration, Honors and Distinction, from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
